Today is my stop on the Colored Pages Book Tour and I am thrilled to talk to you about this latest YA mystery, Sincerely, Your Murderer by Ravena Guron. I have been a fan of Guron’s mysteries ever since I read her debut, This Book Kills. I like to think of Guron’s books as Agatha Christie for the younger set. She creates intricately plotted, suspenseful reads that both chill and entertain. And with her latest mystery, Guron has another winner. Kay left her hometown over a year ago when her best friend, Ivy, tragically passed away. But because her parents are on a cruise, she is back, staying with her cousin and uncle. Pissed that her parents didn’t take her with them and not thrilled to be back in town with sad memories, Kay hopes for a quiet week. But all hopes are dashed when a terrifying letter is left on her bed. The letter tells Kay that there will be a thrill on Tuesday, a wreckage on Wednesday, treachery on Thursday, a fire on Friday, sabotage on Saturday, a stabbing on Sunday…and her murder on Monday. Kay is led down a treacherous week as the letter’s events start to come true and she must figure out who her would be murderer is before it’s too late.

Guron has a gift for creating gripping mysteries where the target audience is for teens, but it can be enjoyed by both teens and adults. In this latest mystery, you not only embark on a trail to figure out who “Monday” is, but you also get to see how Ivy deals with grief, which is fascinating to watch develop. Guron lets readers join the investigation with a fast-paced narrative and an immersive reading experience. As always with Guron’s books, tune in for the red herrings and twists that will have you on the edge of your seat. A great mystery that will even thrill the Queen of Mystery.
