
The longlist for the 2022 Women’s Prize for Fiction was announced on International Women’s Day. This year’s longlist honors both debut and acclaimed writers and a range of genres and themes, which span the globe in settings, from Trinidad, Cyprus and a dystopian England, to Cape Cod, Buchenwald, and Vietnam.

The judging panel will now bring these 16 books down to a shortlist of just 6 novels, announced on April 27th. The 27th winner of the Women’s Prize for Fiction will be announced on Wednesday June 15th.
