Happy National Poetry Day! Although this is only recognized in the UK but that shouldn’t stop the rest of us from discovering, enjoying and sharing the true beauty of poetry. So, read a poem today or take the time to discover the genre altogether. Discover the greatness that poetry can emit.
To honor this day, I want to share a poem that I recently read that I not only thought was beautiful, but goes along the lines of the National Poetry Day’s theme for this year: freedom. It is titled The Tables Turned written by William Wordsworth and I hope you enjoy it:
Discover more from cup of tea with that book, please

I was born and raised in New York. I still live in New York but kind of sick of the city and one day I wish to move to the UK.I have a Masters degree in Library Science and I currently work in a special collections library.
I loved books ever since I was a little girl. Through the hard times in my life, my love for books has always gotten me through. Just entering another world different from my own intrigues me.
As long as I am entering in another universe, I like to create my own as well. I love to write and hopefully I will be able to complete a novel.
