Hello November, NaNoWriMo Has Arrived!

Hello all!

I am announcing that I am participating in NaNoWriMo this year! Never heard of NaNoWriMo? NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It is a month-long event that challenges writers to complete a novel in 30 days with 50,000 words.

I doubt that I will make 50,000 words but I am going to try. I tried to do this last year and it was a complete bust. So I am going to give it another go. I have started writing a novel, ions ago. It is titled Blessed and here is a small blurb I wrote about it:

It was any ordinary day when Charma Johnson’s 25th birthday arrived. All she wants is for this day to past and move on with her life. But when handsome stranger comes into her life, he reveals something about her that she didn’t think was possible: she’s a witch. Not just any old witch, a powerful supernatural being the universe has never seen.  But there is a new threat coming to destroy their world and Charma is needed to stop it. It is going to take all Charma’s strength and all her trust to defeat this darkness and show her true worth as to why she is called…

With my busy schedule, I know this will be hard, but no one said writing a novel would be easy. I think this will give me the push to get my creativity finally on paper.
