Book Recommendation: Dinner With Mr. Darcy by Pen Volger

I don’t usually talk about food or cookbooks but I needed to blog about this cookbook, Dinner With Mr. Darcy by Pen Volger. It is a recipe book by the novels and letters of Jane Austen. There are over 60 great recipes that are updated and adapted for modern ingredients and methods. The book also contains the original recipe from the Regency era while giving a historical background of food and dining. You’ll find amazing recipes such as Ragout Veal. Look how it turn out:

And it was really, really good!

So if you love to cook, love Jane Austen and want to eat the delicacies that were consumed in her day, you definitely must get this book. You will not be disappointed.
