2020 Goodreads Choice Awards Nominees

It’s that time of year again! The voting round of the 2020 Goodreads Choice Awards has begun. This annual event, in its 12th year, is the only major book awards chosen by readers. The opening round ends on November 8. The semifinal round runs from November 10 – 15, the final round runs from November 17 – 30 and the winners are announced on December 8.

I won’t be listing all the nominees but here are some categories that may be of high interest to some readers. I’ll also mark the ones that will definitely get my vote!

National Poetry Day 2020

Today is National Poetry Day! It is safe to say that this year we needed poetry to soothe and calm us of our anxiety and fears that we have been feeling lately. It is important now more than ever to enjoy, discover and share poetry.
