Movies & TV Shows Based on Books Released in 2018

In the past, anxiety was at its peak when a book lover heard that a film/TV adaptation was being made, based off their favorite book. And it is still nerve-racking! “A Wrinkle in Time” Movie Trailer Released

The first trailer for Ava DuVernay’s adaptation of Madeline L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time has been released.

 

I read this book a long time ago when  I was a kid and I didn’t really warm to the book. But after seeing this trailer, it gives me the chance to reread this book!

The movie introduces young actress Storm Reid stars as Meg Murry and has an all-star cast: Oprah Winfrey as Mrs. Which, Reese Witherspoon as Mrs. Whatsit, and Mindy Kaling as Mrs. Who, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Chris Pine play Meg’s parents, Dr. Kate Murry and  Dr. Alex Murry, And another newcomer Deric McCabe playing Charles Wallace, Meg’s gifted little brother.

A Wrinkle in Time  opens nationwide, March 9, 2018.
