American Harry Potter fans now have a reason to rejoice! Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be coming to Broadway!

The critically acclaimed play made its debut at London’s Palace Theater in July 2016 and in true Harry Potter fandom fashion, theater goers were scrambling to get the hottest ticket in town. Now, producers have just announced that Cursed Child will makes its Broadway premiere on April  22, 2018 at the Lyric Theater:

The Broadway transfer was first announced a few months ago, along with plans to renovate the Lyric Theatre to meet the specifications of the show. Casting information has yet to be revealed, so it remains to be seen whether any of the British cast will reprise their roles on Broadway.
