In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Ghostwriter.”
“If you could have any author–living or dead–write your biography, who would you choose?”
I read a lot of books when I was young. But when my mother read to me “Pride and Prejudice”, I just knew that this book would stay with me forever.
Austen’s witty writing and whimsical characters keeps you engaged, yearning for more from her narratives. That is what I want my biography to be. Austen manages to captures the true side of society through humor and frivolities. I feel that Austen would positively capture the real me.
Not only do I identify with Elizabeth Bennet in “Pride and Prejudice”, I also identified with Austen herself. I feel we have the same personalities so it would be no trouble for Austen to write a perfect portrayal my life. she is the type of person, like myself, who would give the God honest truth. Why wouldn’t I choose her?
Who would you choose?
