Today marks my stop on the Literally PR blog tour, and I am excited to discuss “The Missing Links of Tannadee” by Maurice Gray. Presumptuous billionaire Gordon Weever’s primary goal is to become Clan Chief, but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), there are obstacles along the way. He doesn’t have the proper credentials to be Clan Chief, but he won’t let a little thing like “proper experience” get in his way, especially when he can hire a pair of troublemakers to see his rival off. But the troublemakers have issues of their own, issues that somehow only a little dog can help with. But standing in the way of both Weever and the crooks are a band of determined villagers who prefer the candidate with the legitimate claim. With all the shenanigans, including a dog and something the entire village wants to get their hands on, will Tannadee ever elect a Clan Chief? You will have to read to find out.
Although this is the second book in the series, readers will have no problem jumping right into this hilarious romp. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud at the humorous antics of a Scottish village. It was like watching a daily soap opera, but without tense situations. I got the chance to lie back, relax, and enjoy the humorous situations these characters got into. The residents of Tannadee are fictional characters you want to stay with always. A mixture of wit, warmth, and humor, “The Missing Links of Tannadee” has everything readers want in a summer read. Well-written and paced, you’ll want to move to Tannadee after picking this up.
