Have you ever wanted to have an honest and healthy discussion online? Here is your chance! I am introducing a new feature on cup of tea with that book, please, Friday Debate, where I will pose a question/opinion poll every Friday where there’ll be an open dialogue on various topics ranging from news, politics, education, and of course, books!

This question came to me just recently. I was helping a gentleman at the library with his tablet. After my manager sees me finished assisting him, he then pulls me aside to tell that this gentleman has been banned from the library due to him sexually harassing a female librarian at another library branch. But that did not stop him from leaving with said patron, after telling me this, and returning to his office. This is not the first time I have been in this situation. But this incident has led me to ask two questions:

Interesting question. It’s upsetting that your supervisor didn’t stay around while you were working with that patron. There’s no excuse for that, especially as it would have been easy for him to pretend to be doing something else in the room, while you helped the patron.
