May is another one of my favorite months. Not only the weather starts turning into that comfortable weather that makes it ideal for walks and sitting in the park. 2021 Women’s Prize for Fiction Shortlist

The shortlist for the 2021 Women’s Prize for Fiction was announced a few days ago.  This year’s shortlist is made up of authors who have never been nominated for the prize before , with authors such as Susanna Clarke, Yaa Gyasi and Patricia Lockwood. The annual award that looks for an “outstanding, ambitious, original” novel by a woman features several stories about “lives you haven’t read about before”, said chair of judges Bernardine Evaristo, the Booker prize-winning novelist.1
