Top Ten Tuesdays

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Today’s post is:

Ten Bookish Things I Want to Quit Or Have Quit (aka ten book series I think I’m going to abandon, ten bookish habits I want to quit, ten authors I quit reading, ten types of books I’m quitting, ten tropes I want to stop reading about, ten books I marked as DNF (did not finish) recently, etc. Get as creative as you want)”

It happens. Life gets in the way or you find something else more interesting to read. And the book you were currently reading is flowing in the wind. Or the book is just not doing it for me and I just decide to put an end to this misery. Here are the most recent books I haven’t finished yet:

Blerg… I haven’t necessarily not finished any books that I’ve WANTED to read lately, but I did just recently DNF an ARC ebook from an author. 🙂 My TTT

I actually read an ARC of The House Girl – I wasn’t terribly impressed by it. There was so much more I wished the author could have explored. Some of that may have changed in the final copy though.

    Check out my TTT.

I’m getting much better at DNF these days. I’ve got too many unread books!

I thought Before We Met is a good read. It isn’t?

I loved Murder List! I checked out The House Girl a while ago but never got around to reading it before it was due back at the library. Sadness. My TTT

Every time I see the cover of “The World Before Us” it calls to me, but I’ve been good about not buying it. Maybe it’s a good thing I haven’t. Great post! Happy reading!
