After reading a string of mysteries and thrillers, it was nice to read a contemporary book that shows human beings’ good nature. Based on the synopsis, you feel this is the run-of-your-mill broken-hearted woman going on a trip to “find herself”. But Her Husband’s Secret is more than that. Not only will readers enjoy the heartwarming writing style that O’Loughlin writes, but they will also enjoy the realistic characters and the engaging storytelling used to captivate the reader. The characters here were also full of heart and emotion. The relationships between some characters were just so uplifting and touching that you could not help but be inspired by their actions.
If you are a reader looking for a quick and emotional read, you can’t go wrong with this one. Perfect for readers who enjoy Jojo Moyes and Beth O’Leary, Her Husband’s Secret is a must-read for book lovers looking for something poignant but uplifting and inspirational to provide them with the perfect end for the summer.
