World Book Night at 10

Today is World Book Night, an annual celebration of books and reading on that occurs on April 23, presented by The Reading Agency. This event brings people from all backgrounds together for one important reason – to inspire others to read more. 2021 marks the 10th Anniversary of this celebration with a special “Books That Make You Smile” theme. There is also a specially produced book “Stories That Make You Smile” that is free to download. It includes bestselling authors such as Katie Fforde, Dorothy Koomson, Vaseem Khan and many more.

If you want to keep up with this year theme and read books that will definitely make you smile, check out my previous blog posts where I always made sure to list books that will definitely brighten up your World Book Night:

I was born and raised in New York. I still live in New York but kind of sick of the city and one day I wish to move to the UK.I have a Masters degree in Library Science and I currently work in a special collections library. I loved books ever since I was a little girl. Through the hard times in my life, my love for books has always gotten me through. Just entering another world different from my own intrigues me. As long as I am entering in another universe, I like to create my own as well. I love to write and hopefully I will be able to complete a novel.
