Did your favorite poet or poetry make the list? What is you favorite book of poetry?
The Lady of Shallot is so wonderful! I love Poe’s collection, and Annabel Lee by him is my all time favorite poem! Great list! I’ve been wanting to read Emily Brontes poems, but haven’t gotten around to it.
Plath’s Ariel has to be my all-time favorite collection of poetry. Her words pack so much punch; she was a true word genius. I also love Maya Angelou, both her memoirs and poetry. She truly was a phenomenal woman!
I do a series on my blog called Poetry Spotlight where I talk about some of my favorite poets and poems in the context of their lives, history, and literary movements. I love poetry, and I’m so gad I have become a regular reader of poetry!
Thanks for sharing your favorites!
