This month marks the 200th anniversary of the publication of Mary Shelley’s most popular novel, Frankenstein. For generations, Shelley’s novel has managed to make a name for itself in all forms of literature.
This absolutely one of may favorite books! I never been a big fan of science fiction. But, I consider Frankenstein to be the one novel that sets apart from the other Sci-Fi books. The themes of morality and arrogance are so prevalent, it makes this story so relevant to this day. So in honor of this great achievement, here are some beautifully written quotes and read why Frankenstein is considered to be the best horror story of its time.

I absolutely love Frankenstein. It’s so much better than pop culture would lead one to believe. I’m reading a book now called Making the Monster by Kathryn Harkup about the science of the time and how it influenced her writing. So excited for this anniversary!
