New Year’s Resolutions

New Year's ResolutionsI don’t make New Year’s resolutions that much. It is not because I don’t keep them, just I never really saw the point to them. However, 2017 was an eye-opening year for me, the good and the bad. For 2018, in order for me to not feel stagnant in my life, New Year’s Resolutions are needed this time around. But, I am not considering them as resolutions, as wisdom, a new perspective on my life.

  • Read more from my TBR
  • Care more about my health and well-being
  • Keep focusing on my hobbies
  • Take a class
  • Learn something new
  • Spend more time with my family
  • Focus more on my writing
  • Travel more (whether domestic or international)
  • Continue learning a new language
  • Pick up a new hobby
  • Work more on developing my blog
  • Budget more
  • Appreciate more
  • Sleep a little better
  • Continue to be more active
  • Be outspoken
  • Don’t settle for anything less
  • Be true to who I am
  • Cook for myself more
  • Turn a hobby into a career
  • Learn how to defend myself
  • Start a journal
  • Spend less time on social media
  • Improve my mental skills
  • Stop procrastinating

Let this new year bring harmony and change we all strive to achieve in our lives.

I was born and raised in New York. I still live in New York but kind of sick of the city and one day I wish to move to the UK.I have a Masters degree in Library Science and I currently work in a special collections library. I loved books ever since I was a little girl. Through the hard times in my life, my love for books has always gotten me through. Just entering another world different from my own intrigues me. As long as I am entering in another universe, I like to create my own as well. I love to write and hopefully I will be able to complete a novel.
