Ten Finished Series I Have YET to Finish”
1. The Princess Diaries Series by Meg Cabot
I love her books but after awhile I had to stop reading these so I never finished the series. But I did buy Royal Wedding, so I’m looking forward to that!
2. Thursday Next Series by Jasper Fforde
I stopped after Lost in a Good Book but I definitely want to finish the series.
3. Pretty Little Liars Series by Sara Shepard
I just felt that the series went on too long. It really should have stopped after Wanted.
4. The Lying Game Series by Sara Shepard
I think the TV show ruined it for me but I will try to finish this series.
5. All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness
Only read the first one. Other books got in the way so I never got to finish the series.
6. The Gallagher Girls Series by Ally Carter
Again, other books got in the way.
7. The Chronicles of Narnia Series by C.S Lewis
8. Gossip Girl Series by Cecily von Ziegesar
It got tiring and exhausting after awhile so I decided to take a break from it.
9. The A-List Series by Zoey Dean
Again, got tiring. Also, it kind of hurt when I found out she wasn’t real.
UPDATE: At first, I only could think of seven series, so I originally posted seven. But I just thought of two more on the train. I don’t really read a lot of series. What finished series haven’t you finished?

Just read my first Ally Carter novel and aw, it was so cute! It was her newest one. At some point, I wouldn’t mind reading the Princess Diaries books just because I have such fond memories of the films. But, who knows. As you say, other books do get in the way. 🙂
I really want to start the Thursday Next series! I just bought used copies of the first two books and I’m really looking forward to starting it soon. I read the first two books in the All Souls Trilogy, but because of the long wait between book two and three, I never got around to finishing the series! Now I would definitely need a reread of both books, I don’t know if I will get around to finishing that one.

I loved A Discovery of Witches it was just so long I needed to mentally prepare myself to read the next one and timing got the best of me I guess lol.
I’d love to try the All Souls Trilogy. A Discovery of Witches was on my summer TBR but I didn’t get to it. Sorry for the double pings there.
I haven’t finished the Gallagher Girl series yet. I don’t think I will either. I didn’t enjoy them as much as I wanted to.

I didn’t know the Princess Diaries were a book series! I loved the movies so perhaps I will have to pick these up!
There are good but you get tired of it after awhile. So the best idea is too pace yourself.
I still haven’t finished The Princess Diaries series or Thursday Next series. I think I got to book 3 or 4 with PD and I do want to read The Royal Wedding but kind of hoping that you don’t need to read all the books to get it. I also loved the first 3-4 books in Thursday Next series but read book 6 and felt only okay. I do want to finish it so I can read them all and that is one series I wish they would make into a TV Show—wouldn’t it be great? 🙂

They should definitely be a Thursday Next tv series! At least a movie. It would be so awesome!
I’ve got the last two I think in the Thursday Next series, but can’t make myself pick them back up. Maybe some day. Great list!

I have a lot in common with your list! I totally agree with you on the Pretty Little Liars series. Someday I’d like to revisit The Lying Game series, I found them really enjoyable and interesting, but it’s been so long since I read them, I’d have to reread all of them to get back in the series. I haven’t finished The Princess Diary series either.
