Top Ten Tuesday: My Auto-Buy Authors

Top Ten Tuesdays

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish. Today’s post is:

Top Ten Of Your Auto-buy Authors (no matter the genre or what it’s about…you’ll buy it from these authors!). “

This is going to be a mixture of books I automatically buy at the bookstore or borrow from the library (because even though I like the author I may not necessarily buy their latest book):

  1. Meg Cabot (I have most of her books but her latest book is the most recent I’ve bought)
  2. Jojo Moyes (mixture of buying and library borrowing)
  3. Karen White
  4. Kate Morton (mostly borrow from the library, but if it’s really good then I might buy it)
  5. Emily Giffin

6. Anything about Jane Austen (today’s theme said I can mention particular genres or topics, so I think anything dealing with Jane Austen falls under that category)

7. Richard Castle (again mostly borrowing from the library)

8. Jill Mansell

9. Mary Higgins Clark

10. Any history books, but mostly British History

I know I didn’t have that many authors on my list but what authors would be on your list?

I was born and raised in New York. I still live in New York but kind of sick of the city and one day I wish to move to the UK.I have a Masters degree in Library Science and I currently work in a special collections library. I loved books ever since I was a little girl. Through the hard times in my life, my love for books has always gotten me through. Just entering another world different from my own intrigues me. As long as I am entering in another universe, I like to create my own as well. I love to write and hopefully I will be able to complete a novel.

  1. I love Kate Morton!! Getting ready to read her upcoming release – so excited!! If you love Jane Austen and British history, you will love some of the authors on My TTT this week!

  2. Most of mine would be series mysteries. Michael Connelly, M. C. Beaton, Rhys Bowen, Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich. Add in Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child for thrillers.

  3. Meg Cabot and Jojo Moyes are awesome writers. I would also have to put Sarah J. Maas, Cassandra Clare and Sarah Dessen on my list though.
