I didn’t count Ann M. Martin on my list, but if I had, she definitely would have been #1. I LOVED The Babysitters Club books, and the Karen books. Great list!
Great list! I had Ann M. Martin on my list too. I was obsessed with those books!
Haha, these are great! I had not thought to include my childhood books. I was more thinking what I’ve read in the past couple years, so mostly my adult life. Ann M. Martin would be on my list for sure! Cooney as well and definitely Nancy Drew! I think I read every single one as a child. Amazing list!
For some reason I totally left Shakespeare off my list. I haven’t even added him to goodreads! I am ashamed of myself. Great list!
I’m in with the Nancy Drew books – although that goes back about sixty years, lol. More recent authors would be Balzac, Zola, Charlaine Harris, Janet Evanovich, Michael Connelly, Sue Grafton, M. C. Beaton and Rhys Bowen.
My Tuesday Teaser today is a Sue Grafton book: https://madamevauquer.wordpress.com/2015/08/11/sue-grafton-undertow-kinsey-millhone/
I still CAN’T BELIEVE I left Carolyn Keene off my list!!! My TTT
Wonderful list! I love how this topic has brought together newish authors, childhood favorites, and classics 🙂 And Ann M. Martin, of course! Best series ever (aside from maybe the Sweet Valley Twins).
